Rebuild Bay County, Inc. continued weekly food distributions serving 150+ seniors.

 

On July 18th, the RAC partner organizations – Rebuild Bay, LEAD Coalition, JD Green, Minority Business Chamber, The LGBTQ Center of Bay County – in partnership with Bay County Government, conducted a 45,000lbs mobile food pantry in Panama City. This was the largest pantry to date, servicing more than 1,000 households. The Outreach Workgroup registered over 500 households while the Leadership Workgroup received more than 125 COVID specific completed surveys and distributed the same number of COVID monitoring kits.

 

Numbers to date:

-Distributed 130,000lbs of food

-Distributed more than 1100 masks

-Distributed 450 COVID monitoring kits

-Assisted over 2,500 households

Outreach Workgroup June Report

 

Rebuild Bay County, Inc led weekly food distributions/deliveries for seniors and other shut-ins out of the Glenwood Community Center throughout the month, and one large mobile pantry at Waller Elementary. Each distribution included COVID health and safety information and/or masks and gloves assembled by the Outreach Workgroup.

Numbers to date:

-Distributed 70,000lbs of food

-Distributed 800 masks

-Distributed 1,200 information pamphlets

-Assisted 1,850 households
