9.2.2020 RAC Bay County Work Group Leadership Meeting

Report:

The 9.2.2020 RAC Bay County Community Update was submitted and the top line overview was discussed, with an emphasis on the data on pediatric and youth cases. 

On September 1st, the positivity rate for new cases in Panama City was 10.82%, however the positivity rate for new cases among those younger than 18 years old was 13.9% (9/1)

The numbers of cases have been going down. The positivity rate varies greatly from day to day, but was 17% on August 25th, which is well above the state positivity rate. 

Adam Johnson (FDOH) presented the Community Assessment for Public Health Emergency Response. Here is the news release about the assessment, with a summary of results.

8.11.2020 Work Group Leadership Meeting Report

Eric Kunzman (Bay Co Emergency Management Division) and Adam Johnson (FDOH Bay County).

The meeting was attended by Eric Kunzman Bay County EMS) and Adam Johnson (FDOH Bay County)

Tony Bostick clarifies that the PCR tests have an 8-12% bad test rating, the Rapid Response tests have a 10-14% bad test rating, and the Antibody tests have an 11-17% bad test rating.
